Pill Side Effects

Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. Stop using phentermine and call your doctor at once if you have any of these serious side effects:
feeling short of breath, even with mild exertion;

swelling, rapid weight gain;

chest pain, fast or uneven heartbeat, feeling like you might pass out;

unusual thoughts or behavior, feeling restless or confused; or

dangerously high blood pressure (severe headache, blurred vision, buzzing in your ears, anxiety, confusion, chest pain, shortness of breath, uneven heartbeats, seizure).

Less serious side effects may include:

feeling nervous or anxious;

headache, dizziness, tremors;

trouble sleeping (insomnia);

dry mouth or an unpleasant taste in your mouth;

diarrhea or constipation; or

itching.

Along with its needed effects, a medicine may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.

Bladder pain
bloody or cloudy urine
difficult, burning, or painful urination
frequent urge to urinate
lower back or side pain
swelling of the face, fingers, feet, or lower legs

unusual bleeding or bruising
unusual tiredness or weakness

Abdominal discomfort
anxiety
blurred vision
chills

coma

fast, shallow breathing
general feeling of discomfort

muscle pain or cramping

Some side effects may occur that usually do not need medical attention. These side effects may go away during treatment as your body adjusts to the medicine. Also, your health care professional may be able to tell you about ways to prevent or reduce some of these side effects. Check with your health care professional if any of the following side effects continue or are bothersome or if you have any questions about them:

cough
difficulty with breathing
ear congestion
fever, sneezing, or sore throat
loss of voice
nasal congestion
runny nose
Other side effects not listed may also occur in some patients. If you notice any other effects, check with your healthcare professional.

Side effects cannot be anticipated. If any develop or change in intensity, inform your doctor as soon as possible. Only your doctor can determine if it is safe for you to continue taking ACTOplus met.

Side effects may include:
Diarrhea, dizziness, headache, nausea, sinusitis, upper respiratory tract infection, upset stomach, urinary tract infection, water retention, weight gain
Symptoms of lactic acidosis (if these occur, call your doctor immediately):
Dizziness or light-headedness; feeling very weak, tired, or uncomfortable; low body temperature; muscle pain; rapid breathing that you can’t explain; slow or uneven heartbeat; stomach problems (such as nausea or vomiting); unusual sleepiness
Symptoms of liver problems (if these occur, call your doctor immediately):
Dark urine, loss of appetite, nausea or vomiting, stomach pain, tiredness, yellowing of your skin or whites of your eyes
