o Drowsiness (severe); shortness of breath ; difficult or labored breathing; tightness in chest; wheezing; skin rash; aggressiveness; behavior changes

* Rare
o Memory problems—more common in older patients; behavior or mental changes

* Symptoms of overdose

Get emergency help immediately if any of the following symptoms of overdose occur

o Clumsiness; unsteadiness; mental or mood changes; drowsiness (severe) ; unusual tiredness or weakness; sluggishness; reduced physical activity; unusual sleepiness; loss of consciousness

Zopiclone may cause you to have a coated tongue, bad breath, or a bitter taste. These effects are to be expected when you are taking this medicine.
Other side effects not listed above may also occur in some patients. If you notice any other effects, check with your doctor.

• Symptoms of overdose

o Clumsiness or unsteadiness (severe); dizziness (severe); double vision or other vision problems; drowsiness (severe); nausea (severe); troubled breathing; slow heartbeat; vomiting (severe)

Other side effects may occur that usually do not need medical attention. These side effects may go away during treatment as your body adjusts to the medicine. However, check with your doctor if any of the following side effects continue or are bothersome:

• Less common

o Abdominal or stomach pain; daytime drowsiness ; diarrhea; double vision or other vision problems; drugged feelings; dryness of mouth; general feeling of discomfort or illness; headache; memory problems; nausea; nightmares or unusual dreams; vomiting

In case of overdose, call your local poison control center. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services.

• Symptoms of overdose

o Confusion (continuing); convulsions (seizures); drowsiness (severe) or coma; shakiness; slow heartbeat; slow reflexes; slurred speech (continuing) ; staggering; troubled breathing ; weakness (severe)

After you stop using this medicine, your body may need time to adjust. During this time, check with your doctor if you notice any of the following side effects:

o Irritability; nervousness; trouble in sleeping
