Stop taking vitamin A and seek emergency medical attention if you experience an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of your throat; swelling of your lips, tongue, or face; or hives).
Other, less serious side effects may occur with large doses or prolonged use of vitamin A. Notify your doctor if you experience

tiredness;

nausea, vomiting, or decreased appetite;

irritability;

headache;

dryness or cracking of the lips or skin; or

hair loss.

Serious side effects are unlikely to occur. Stop taking chlorpheniramine and phenylpropanolamine and seek emergency medical attention if you experience an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of your throat; swelling of your lips, tongue, or face; or hives).
Other, less serious side effects may be more likely to occur. Continue to take chlorpheniramine and phenylpropanolamine and talk to your doctor or try another similar medication if you experience

dryness of the eyes, nose, and mouth;

drowsiness or dizziness;

blurred vision;

difficulty urinating; or

excitation in children.

Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. Stop using this medication and call your doctor at once if you have a serious side effect such as:
slow heart rate, weak or shallow breathing;

feeling like you might pass out;

confusion, fear, unusual thoughts or behavior;

seizure (convulsions); or

urinating less than usual or not at all.

Less serious side effects may include:

dizziness, drowsiness;

nausea, vomiting, upset stomach;

blurred vision;

constipation;

dry mouth; or

sweating.
