Along with its needed effects, a medicine may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.

Check with your doctor or nurse immediately if any of the following side effects occur:

fever
hives
nausea
reddening of the skin, especially around ears swelling of eyes, face, or inside of nose
unusual tiredness or weakness
Some side effects may occur that usually do not need medical attention. These side effects may go away during treatment as your body adjusts to the medicine. Also, your health care professional may be able to tell you about ways to prevent or reduce some of these side effects. Check with your health care professional if any of the following side effects continue or are bothersome or if you have any questions about them:

Bleeding, blistering, burning, coldness, discoloration of skin, feeling of pressure, hives, infection, inflammation, itching, lumps, numbness, pain, rash, redness, scarring, soreness, stinging, swelling, tenderness, tingling, ulceration, or warmth at site
dizziness
feeling of warmth or redness of the face, neck, arms and occasionally, upper chest
skin rash or itching

Get emergency help immediately if any of the following symptoms of overdose occur:

Large, flat, blue, or purplish patches in the skin

Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. Stop taking anaprox and seek medical attention or call your doctor at once if you have any of these serious side effects:

* chest pain, weakness, shortness of breath, slurred speech, problems with vision or balance;
* black, bloody, or tarry stools;
* coughing up blood or vomit that looks like coffee grounds;
* swelling or rapid weight gain;
* urinating less than usual or not at all;
* nausea, stomach pain, low fever, loss of appetite, dark urine, clay-colored stools, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes);
* fever, sore throat, and headache with a severe blistering, peeling, and red skin rash;
* bruising, severe tingling, numbness, pain, muscle weakness; or
* fever, headache, neck stiffness, chills, increased sensitivity to light, purple spots on the skin, and/or seizure (convulsions).

Keep taking anaprox and talk to your doctor if you have any of these less serious side effects:

* upset stomach, mild heartburn or stomach pain, diarrhea, constipation;
* bloating, gas;
* dizziness, headache, nervousness;
* skin itching or rash;
* blurred vision; or
* ringing in your ears.

Side effects other than those listed here may also occur. Talk to your doctor about any side effect that seems unusual or that is especially bothersome.

Contact your doctor if you experience blood in vomit or bloody, black, or tarry stools. These symptoms could indicate damage to the stomach or intestines, which could be dangerous.
- If you experience any of the following serious side effects, stop taking Diclofenac and seek medical attention or contact your doctor immediately:

* an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of the throat; swelling of the lips, tongue, or face; or hives);
* muscle cramps, numbness, or tingling;
* ulcers (open sores) in the mouth;
* rapid weight gain (fluid retention);
* seizures;
* decreased hearing or ringing in the ears;
* yellowing of the skin and eyes (jaundice); or
* abdominal cramping, indigestion, or heartburn.

- Other, less serious side effects may be more likely to occur. Continue to take diclofenac and talk to your doctor if you experience

* dizziness or headache;
* nausea, diarrhea, or constipation;
* depression;
* fatigue or weakness;
* dry mouth; or
* irregular menstrual periods.

Side effects other than those listed here may also occur. Talk to your doctor about any side effect that seems unusual or that is especially bothersome.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist as soon as possible if you do not feel well while you are taking ARCOXIA.

Tell your doctor if you notice or have any of the following and they worry you:

* feeling sick (nausea), vomiting
* heartburn, indigestion, uncomfortable feeling or pain in the stomach,
* diarrhea
* swelling of the legs, ankles or feet
* high blood pressure
* dizziness
* headache

Additionally, the following have been reported:

* allergic reactions including rash, itching and hives

* drowsiness
* mouth ulcers

These are usually the mild adverse effects of ARCOXIA.

* swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat which may cause difficulty in swallowing or breathing

* serious liver problems
* stomach pain
* stomach ulcers that may become serious and may bleed

Other adverse effects not listed above may also occur in some patients. Tell your doctor if you notice any other effects.
